You Say:

(Polishing your halo with my life)
You say:
We think about you all the time. 
There but for the grace of God...

(The Grace of GOD?) 

(As though God has not graced me)
I Want to Say:
I haven't seen you since... the wedding.
It must be so hard.
I know I could never do it.
He is so lucky to have you.

(The barista calls my name)
Instead, I Say:
I didn't expect to ... run into you.
Such a great surprise.
We'll have to get together soon.
I think I have your number.
